“As a child, I spent my summers in Burgas with my grandfather, crafting, experimenting, and learning. Years later, my father gave me my first camera. I couldn’t resist – I took my first photographs and then disassembled it, just to see how it worked. That curiosity for how things are made, and how light interacts with them, has stayed with me ever since.”

From those early years, Vladimir has been captivated by challenging projects. He has devoted his career to creating images in which every product – from handcrafted to high-end – becomes the main character of its own story, lit and captured with exceptional attention to the smallest detail.

Vladimir began his professional journey in Varna straight out of university, handling various small projects which in turn developed his skills and attention to detail. His true passion, however, ignited when he discovered the creative possibilities of studio lighting and product photography – a field where technical mastery meets artistic vision.

An artisan in precision product lighting, Vladimir is an influence to the way brands approach visual storytelling. He skillfully manipulates objects and surroundings to create intricate visuals for every new project. In addition to his own studio work, he teaches the complexities of product photography, inspiring a new generation of visual artists. His work spans still life and portraiture for online stores, social media, print advertising, commercial campaigns, and video production – helping brands stand out in competitive markets worldwide.

With experience spanning PR, digital marketing, copywriting, and visual content, she is the architect behind many of the studio’s most successful projects, turning ideas into captivating stories for brands in Bulgaria and beyond.

“Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the power of words – how a single phrase can spark a smile, awaken curiosity, or change an opinion. This passion led me to the Faculty of Journalism at Sofia University, where I graduated in PR. At the same time, I studied and worked, gaining firsthand insight into what real communication truly means.”

After graduating, Mariyana expanded her expertise into digital marketing and copywriting. She has worked in commerce and customer service for international companies, including one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms. She also gained experience in television and advertising agencies, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the media ecosystem and brand building.

Mariyana officially joined Ladev Studio in 2021. In her very first year, she introduced a strategy that tripled the company’s revenue. Today, she combines key roles – from creative concept and strategic planning, through client communication, to managing Ladev Studio’s digital presence on social media. And yes, she also knows how to step behind the camera.
